Spending eight plus hours in a small economy plane seat isn’t the most ideal way to start a trip, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. Here are some tips for making long haul flights more comfortable.
Wear Comfy Clothes
While you might not want to fly in pajamas, comfortable clothing you can breathe and move in will make a long flight a lot more bearable.
Bring Sleep Accessories
Bring a small travel or neck pillow, a blanket, warm socks and an eye mask to help you get more sleep on an overnight flight. Earplugs or noise cancelling headphones can help, too.
Carry On Nice Toiletries
The dry air in planes can wreak havoc on your skin. Wash your face and use a nice moisturizer. Apply a face mask and use a facial mist to make it feel like a spa in the sky.
